The Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO) is an annual international mathematics competition for secondary school students from countries across the Balkan region. First held in 1984, it has become one of the most prestigious regional mathematical olympiads in the world.

BMO brings together national teams from Balkan member countries, as well as guest countries from outside the region. Its purpose is to identify and nurture mathematical talent among young people, while strengthening international cooperation between schools and scientific associations.

The 44th edition, BMO 2027 (BMO 44), takes place in Albania, in Korçë and Pogradec, and is organized by PROVENTUS.
